As the author of all images made hereunder and as provided for by law, The Photographer shall retain the copyrights in perpetuity, regardless of possession or ownership of negatives, photographs, digital files or any other format of reproduction.
Use by the Client: The parties agree that The Client may use the images created hereunder for any personal, non-commercial purpose, including display on personal websites, and the publication of related announcements or articles, and, when customary, include copyright reference or credit line. Client will not permit, participate or assist in any commercial use or sale of the images without specific consent of The Photographer.
Use by The Photographer: The Parties hereby assign and grant The Photographer(s) and his agents or assigns, licensees, successors in interest, legal representatives and heirs, the irrevocable and unrestricted right to copyright, reproduce, publish, re-publish, exhibit and otherwise use the images of The Client or in which The Client may be included, in whole or part, or composite or distorted in character or form, without restrictions as to changes or alterations, in conjunction with The Client’s own or a fictitious name, created hereunder as samples of The Photographer’ work to be shown to prospective clients, for instructional purposes during lectures and educational seminars taught by The Photographer, for generic institutional purposes, including use in conjunction with televised or published interviews, trade, or any other purpose whatsoever and in any manner and medium, including website and internet promotion, photographic contests, store fronts, window and studio displays, public display such as in photography books, magazine advertising; to alter the same without restriction. The Client hereby waives any right to inspect or approve the finished product or products or the advertising copy or printed matter that may be used in concretion therewith or the use to which it may be applied. The Client hereby releases The Photographer, his legal representatives or assigns, licensees, successors in interest, legal representatives and heirs, from all claims and any liability by virtue of any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or composite form, whether intentional or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in the taking of said picture or in any subsequent processing thereof, as well as any publication thereof. Any use of the images produced hereunder by The Photographer shall be judicious and consistent with high standards of taste and judgment.
After many days of searching online for the perfect photographer, we finally found him. Ed’s style really spoke to me. His couples sessions were my main draw and we booked a shoot about a month in advance. From the start, communication was timely and clear, friendly and personable. He walked me through the process of what to expect, how to give him an idea of what we were hoping for, etc. He made the process stress free and fun.Thank you for that, Ed.
On the day of the shoot I felt unwell. I opted to cancel but Ed graciously accommodated a last minute venue change nearer to our hotel so that I could call it quits if need be. He made a random walk through central park an adventure worth capturing. It felt as if we were with an old friend who just so happened to be very good at helping to pose and photograph in an iconic location. I love that I did not have to spend my time or energy trying to take our own pictures. Instead, I got to enjoy our vacation while a professional, with an artistic eye, did the work for us.
We opted for a more “natural” picture without many effects or touch ups. I’m very happy with the results. I would love to book another session and play around more with his masterful skills in the editing room. Clearly he has a great imagination and I would love to play more with lighting in a closed setting rather than outdoors. Whichever style you are drawn to, I can happily report that Ed is a professional from start to finish.
I had a privilege to work with Ed on 3 creative projects/photoshoots for the past 13 months and I can’t thank him enough for his talent, creativity, energy, professionalism and personality. Ed is very easy going and patient. He will listen to your idea, and help you to make it happen (no matter how crazy it may be), and trust me all my projects were not easy (I have a clear vision in my head, perfectionistic set of mind). My first meeting and work with Ed was on very intimate & private photoshoot. Ed not only worked with me on developing a concept but created one of a kind end product, which involved his designer skills as well (and he definitely has a feel for it). My second and third time working with Ed was a shoot of the whole family. My husband not a fan of taking pictures in general, and yet, again, Ed made an impression of a very nice, talented photographer, very easy going, reasonable & calm person. My two boys kept asking him tons of questions and he was very patient, playful and fun to be around (we are talking about a full day of shooting with active boys). He will even make his way to you despite a snow storm (wearing sneakers and a hoodie only) to take that one of a kind shot you have in your head. He definitely has a unique touch & an amazing eye. A pleasure to work with and ultimately delivering great images at the end that will last you forever. I really don’t know where to start! One thing is for sure is that Ed Zorz over exceeded my expectations- when all was done I was completely blown away. I hired Ed to do a Photo Shoot for my 40th Birthday after scrolling endlessly on the web to find the perfect photographer to capture this milestone. There were several 5 Star service patterns from introduction to the final product that have left me in complete awe! 1. Ed is extremely responsive, from the very first phone call. All calls or emails were returned promptly and communication, follow up and follow through was very smooth. 2. The Photoshoot was fun but most importantly it was creatively and professionally done. The manipulation of angles, lights, props and mere imagination – was simply a marvel! I did a full day shoot and every penny spent was worth it. It was my first photo shoot and I felt like a star! 3. Now the prints – Ed surprised me by adding artistic illustrations to some of the photographs and to me that was next level. He added the fun, color and energy that surrounded my life for 40 years and I loved it!! In the end I believe that Ed truly understood me and that was evident in the photos. We used Ed for our maternity photos and we’re so glad we found him on yelp. He always responded to us right away and always willing to answer our questions. We had scheduled our shoot for a Saturday but because we didn’t know how the weather would hold up Ed kept his schedule open for Sunday as well to accommodate us. Luckily the rain was on and off on Saturday and we were able to make it work. He was so patient and my husband and I liked how Ed really thought about the poses and had a vision for his shots. He was so nice and patient and a pleasure to work with.
