Zorz Studios has been online since 2006 and has an average of 7,000 monthly visits with over 30,000 pageviews. We only started publishing valuable content in 2017, with just several articles written in-house. Yet, their thorough research and remarking resourcefulness, combined with proper SEO optimization, quickly brought them to the top of Google searches and kept them there, mainly on the first page. Industries and Topics of Interest

We are a photography and videography studio. Topics within these areas are of immediate interest to us. However, we already cover many overlapping or closely related industries in our social media. The following are great examples that meet our guest posting guidelines:

We are NOT accepting content related to:

  • gambling and online casinos
  • CBD, recreational drugs
  • Forex and similar trading platforms
  • cryptocurrencies
  • adult content (see guest posting guidelines below for “gray”)

Gray / Sensitive Niches

We may consider select “gray niche” placements only when they are tasteful, legal, and relevant to my audience. This may include soft romantic, dating, relationship, lingerie, boudoir, self-confidence, or aesthetic lifestyle topics when they can be tied naturally to photography, portraits, creative expression, or visual storytelling.

We do not accept explicit adult content, escort services, pornography, gambling/casino, payday loans, deceptive financial offers, illegal products, drugs, essay-writing services, hate content, or anything misleading, exploitative, or unsafe.

Content Preferences

There are a few more guest posting guidelines that we’d suggest besides fitting our website’s realm. They are not mandatory but encouraged:

  • As noted in the beginning, the key to the first-page ranking was the article’s thoroughness and scope. Short pieces barely scratching the surface with common knowledge can be accepted, but no prominent SERP should be expected.
  • The content should be human-edited and unique. Mere AI writing or spinning is unacceptable, as it hurts our site’s ranking… We use tools to identify AI or plagiarized content that will be rejected outright. We do not need robotic content! AI writing is helpful but only on a bare basis, requiring human editing to pass the tests of our guest posting guidelines.
  • Ideally, your article’s wording would draw at least some parallels with photography or videography, mentioning some references to the field. It does not need to be direct.
  • Readability and grammar matter for ranking and reputation. We are pretty academic about our own articles and would prefer to keep that bar raised.
  • Content writing with SEO optimization is the author’s responsibility. We use WordPress and have third-party SEO tools, so we can grant you Author access rights to fine-tune your copy and take advantage of those tools. Your article will be saved as a draft for us to publish once approved.
  • If your article is SEO-optimized, please advise of your targeted SEO keyword(s) so we can set proper meta and image data for the best optimization. When we publish, we strive to rank 80+ with the RankMath for a selected keyword(s).
  • Alternatively, we could still accept your article as-is, without you having to optimize it, or we can edit/polish your copy and SEO-optimize it for you for an additional $30-50 fee.

Guest Posting Guidelines

Length

The minimum word count is 1,000, but 1,500-2,000 is recommended for quality results. The text should be structured into paragraphs and grouped by several headings.

Tone

Nothing formal. It may be authoritative and persuasive but in a friendly and casual way. Humor and creativity are welcomed, too.

Although the article can have multiple links, it should not be staffed with them. Ideally, one link per 3-4 paragraphs. The more scattered, the better. It is recommended to mix sponsored links with regular, organic links. Note that sponsorship fees apply to each sponsored link.

All sponsored links will have do-follow and index attributes. Currently, they are not marked as sponsored but this may change in the future.

We generally do not accept links to direct competitors in our active NYC and Poconos service areas, especially photography or videography businesses targeting the same markets or client types. Related creative-industry services may be considered if they do not directly compete with Zorz Studios and are useful to readers.

Anchor Text Restrictions

Anchor text must read naturally within the article and must not make the content look forced, spammy, or misleading. We may edit or reject anchor text that is overly promotional, awkward, grammatically unnatural, adult-explicit, misleading, or unrelated to the article topic.

We generally prefer natural anchors such as brand names, service descriptions, or short topical phrases. Exact-match SEO anchors may be accepted only when they fit smoothly into the sentence and do not harm the quality of the article.

Spam Score and Site Quality

All target URLs are reviewed before approval. We reserve the right to reject links to websites that appear spammy, deceptive, unsafe, low-quality, overloaded with ads, unrelated to the proposed topic, or harmful to my site’s reputation.

We may also decline placements if the target site has an unusually poor reputation, high spam signals, misleading claims, or content that does not align with our guest posting guidelines.

Turnaround

Your guest post or link will be published within 48 hours during weekdays. Similarly, the invoices are expected to be paid within 48 hours.

Placement

For new full articles, we offer two options:

  • featured placement on the main Resources and Advice page and the navigation menu
  • posting in the dedicated Guest Posts area

We make the placement area decision based on the topic’s relevance to our website (see “Industries and Topics” below), our perception of its value to our visitors, and the thoroughness of the topic.

We can also add links and short content (phrases, sentences, paragraphs) to an existing article as long as they blend in organically.

Duration

The articles and links are placed for two years. A discounted renewal rate will be offered if needed.

Other Websites We Operate

At the moment, this website is the only site in our portfolio that accepts guest posts or link insertions.

Banner Placements

In addition to guest posts, we occasionally accept banner placements on my site. These are handled on a simple flat-fee basis for a set period — no impression or click tracking involved. Banners are displayed in visually balanced areas of the site so they complement the overall design rather than clutter it.

If you’d like to discuss a placement, please include the following details:

  • Desired banner size (e.g., 300×250, 336×280, 728×90, or custom)
  • Preferred placement area (sidebar, within post, footer, etc.)
  • Duration of display (e.g., 1 month, 3 months)
  • A link to the destination page
  • The creative file (JPG, PNG, or GIF) and any design notes

Once we review the materials to adhere to our guest posting guidelines, we’ll confirm availability, placement options, and the flat-rate pricing.

Google Map Embeds

We accept embedded Google Maps (e.g., custom My Maps with business pins or local citations) as part of a sponsored placement. These are treated similarly to standard backlink insertions and follow the same editorial and pricing policies.

The embed must be clean, relevant to the post’s topic, and limited to one per article to maintain reader experience and site integrity. Please provide the full embed code along with a brief explanation of its context or intent.

Fees (or Lack Thereof)

The fees are per sponsored link, not per article. Suppose there are two such links—the fee doubles. Their amount depends on several factors and is typically $60-75 per link for two years (the same for backlink insertion and guest post).

We understand you can offer repeated business, multiple posts, and some clients have low budgets. Skip the haggling. Just reach out to websites with lower DA and visits instead—they will be happy to offer a lower fee.

Gray-niche placements are reviewed more strictly and priced higher due to added editorial and brand-safety considerations. Current pricing for approved soft gray-niche placements usually starts at $100–120 for a 2-year link insertion, depending on topic, page fit, anchor text, and target URL.

Cross-promotional content directly from our industry peers (makeup artists, body painters, decorators, event planners, wardrobe stylists, dancers, performers, etc.) is warmly welcomed and is free of charge. We’ll be happy to guest-post your article, rank it high in Google searches, and bring traffic to your website! The content preferences (see above) and guest posting guidelines still apply. Invoices

All invoices are due within 48 hours of receipt. The article/link will be removed in case of a delay until the invoice is cleared. Accepted forms of payment:
