It is one thing when the temperature on your NYC wedding day drops from 72 midweek to 42 (and jumps back to 70 a few days later), but when you also have the annual NYC Marathon fall on your date, you may get nervous.
Thanksgiving, commonly attributed in the US to a 1621 celebration, was prompted by a particularly good harvest that year. Pilgrims and Puritans brought the tradition of Days of Thanksgiving from England but such Days had not been scheduled and could be called for at different […]
Children photography is not a major specialty of Zorz Studios. But when I do it, I want to make it different from the others. With this session, I pulled off something that not only I haven’t done yet, but I haven’t seen at other studios.
This unique engagement session is indeed atypical, as I always hope to get. For starters, I took my couple to an abandoned psychiatric complex some 60 miles away from NYC.
From my studio to your studio! In another heart-warming show of trust, I had an honor to photograph this fun engagement session for a super cool couple who operates Verita Vision Photography.
Meet Shruti and Milan, a wonderful couple from Philadelphia, PA, having fun and goosebumps in their cute engagement session. They were referred to me by another Indian couple, Raj and Jaspreet, whom I had a mighty joy to photograph last year.
This photograph, named “Esca(V/L)ation” and taken earlier this year in Hyderabad, India, is going under the hammer tonight at Josephine Herrick Project‘s benefit party and charity auction, “Modern Masters of Photography” at the Affirmation Arts gallery.
This is a special wedding in several regards. First, it is an Indian wedding, my emotionally vulnerable zone and a soft spot. 🙂 It is not easy to tell that it’s Indian by the bride’s and groom’s names, especially bride’s Russian name (there is sort […]
One autumn evening I took this engaged couple for a unique engagement session to a very special place in the woods, reserved for my own family retreats. But once there, I wanted to depict them in their own secret place, secret garden, where no one […]

The distinction between “super” and “regular” is oftentimes symbolic and ambiguous. An acclaimed photograph for example, may have little merit other than its famous author’s name, while some hobbyist may produce an unrecognized masterpiece. Some girl next door casually running out to a store without […]
Today marks the first anniversary for my dear friends Meera and Arjun whose wedding I had an opportunity to photograph in Bangalore, India. This unforgettable odyssey began long before, with their candid proposal session in NY and the engagement session in CA which were thoroughly […]

Karl Lagerfeld of Chanel house offered something for everyone with his Fall/Winter 2013 collection in Paris two weeks ago with a celebrity line up in the front row, including Jessica Chastain, Milla Jovovich, and Frank Ocean. With the message of catering to the geographical needs […]

Daytime outfits were centered on shape and construction for mastery sculpting with peplum waist, tiered crop bolero jackets and necklines […]
Yesterday, designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli of the house of Valentino made their Fall/Winter 2013 collection a tribute to youthful purity that is classy and chic. Resembling a modern fairy tale, at time models felt like stepped out of a painting (think “Princesse de Joinville” […]

The Florentine house of Salvatore Ferragamo presented its Fall/Winter collection in Milan past week. While Massimiliano Giorretti’s collection wasn’t particularly innovative and in large looked as a progression of the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, it fascinated with its 1960s traces, such as beautiful double-breasted coats in […]
