Zorz Studios is excited to announce a new addition to the current studio’s album lineup, Couture Collection.

By offering this collection, our mission is to offer luxury, one-of-a-kind, handmade coffee table books. The highest standards of integrity, creativity, quality, and innovation are applied to create the most beautiful books in the world. These books will unlikely hear “Ah yeah, seen this type…”

Simply stated, this book collection combines old-world binding techniques coupled with the latest technology in printing to create stunning, one-of-a-kind, heirloom books. The most beautiful fabrics from around the world, used in design and handcrafting of each book, will appeal to the likings of the most sophisticated customer. Each Couture Collection book piece stands alone on the strengths of its design and artistry and reflects Zorz Studios’ standard of superlative quality and care.

Materials. Only the best materials available are utilized in the production process – from fabrics imported from all reaches of the world, to French silk thread for the binding.

Craftsmanship. Each book is made by hand by master craftspeople to exacting standards. Old-world binding techniques are used to ensure the books will last for generations. Archival quality inks and highest standard papers are used.

Environment. Zorz Studios is keen on environment. All Couture Collection books are printed on paper with at least 50% recycled content.

Several lines are presented in the Couture Collection. Images below are only sample variations within a line. Some of the book lines are:

  • Italian Line is defined by the fine hand antiqued leather cover and the unique old-world stitching, unique straps, and spine hubs.
  • French Line is defined by luxurious imported fabrics and unique cover and page options, such as French fold, Coptic stitching, vellum inserted sheets, and endsheets.
  • Himalayan Line is defined by the beautiful imported Nepalese lotka* paper cover with flap and string wrap, and torn paper edge. (*Lotka paper is made from the bark of the bush which grows naturally in the Himalayas at altitude of 6,500 to 9,500 feet. The process of making is natural and thousands years old, possessing no threat to the ecosystem.)
  • NYC Line is defined by the beautiful imported Japanese cloth spine and matching slipcase available in 6 colors, or full bleed cover and slipcase with mounted cover image.
  • Indian Line is defined by the beautiful imported Indian sari silks and the unique fold-over enclosure with band and button.
  • Brazilian Line is defined by the unique cover materials reminding of lush tropical forest (textured paper or bamboo cover and spines), fold-over with stick enclosure, etc.
  • Swiss Line is defined by the unique and modern belt or strap enclosures on leather covers.
  • Spanish Line is defined by the leathers and hand made papers with a Latin feel, hand sewn edges, felt paper, and wood sticks on spine.
  • Earth Line contains the “green” photo books, printed on 100% post-consumer recycled and acid-free archival paper and utilizing environmentally sensitive materials like hemp.

The Couture Collection books will become standard in the Zorz Studios’ upcoming top-of-the-line package, to be announced soon. They are also available a la cart (starting from $1,900) or as an upgrade option to the existing Zorz Studios’ packages (from as low as $800). Every Couture Collection book has a minimum of  100 pages. Please contact the studio with inquiries or to order.
