Here’s another example of getting a guy hooked on an engagement session, this time by making some vroom-vroom sounds.
You may remember Aaron, whose eyes I got sparkling after putting the idea of rock concert and guitars on the table. Here’s another one for you. Meet Brian, a car aficionado. His lovely and highly educated fiance Celina warned me that he may not be too enthusiastic about going through an engagement session so I used the old time-tested approach of finding a stimulus.
We started at Miller Motorcars of Greenwich, CT, where a number of luxury cars, including McLaren, are sold. The manager graciously allowed us to use any of the cars and even had it moved on a lot for a better composition. Of course, I would love to take it somewhere picturesque but we were happy already! The shots had to be tight to avoid getting all the the stores and traffic around us. You know a dealership cannot be in an isolated spot…
These cars called for something glamorous, I did that, but then wanted to make it fun and more interactive, so we headed to the nearby park for a more adventurous and natural feel. We now could include his own baby Roadster. A funny but awkward moment came at some point, which I have to omit. 🙂 Our engagement session was nearing its end, anyway, so we moved on to the sunny hugs and smiles area as the final stop of this improvised road trip.
And a behind-the-scenes shot for ya!
