“Effortless, powerful, classic”—this is what a client requested Zorz Studios to depict in her beauty portraiture session.
A young lady Ann called me after having followed my Facebook business page for over a year. She said she had a very specific expectation in mind, described in those three quoted words. After a follow-up meeting in my studio, we discussed the concept and made plans. The session was not long but focusing on the keywords kept my vision tunneled. Ann just wanted 2-3 strong images, I couldn’t help but worked on developing more. We started in the studio, then drove to the windy empty Central Park to freeze her nose. Quite a journey.
By the way, this young lady drives a black Mustang and not by chance… it is her third Mustang, there were no others. Talk about powerful. Got to admit, there is something disarming about riding on a passenger street of a Mustang, driven by a fine-looking young lady on the shimmering night streets of Manhattan. And guess what played on the radio… classical music channel. Hat’s off.
