The Florentine house of Salvatore Ferragamo presented its Fall/Winter collection in Milan past week. While Massimiliano Giorretti’s collection wasn’t particularly innovative and in large looked as a progression of the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, it fascinated with its 1960s traces, such as beautiful double-breasted coats in navy cashmere, eyeliners, knee-high boots, and mini dresses with black mesh necklines. What particularly appeals to me are the black leather shin guards and corset-style lace up backs of the boots. Overall, a charming feel of just enough details in minimalism to make it intriguing and curious to be explored.
