We drew attention in a couple of places in the past week or two…
First, Sarah Johnson, the founder of Seeking Designers came across my mailing on underwater and body art maternity and immediately put us on the top of their Newsflash (not to mention an “advanced” booking). Seeking Designers is a service provided to both consumers and professionals, connecting them within the design industry, as well as sharing the insiders’ press opportunities.
Second, Our Wedding Day recently launched a new series of articles highlighting wedding services in New York. Each article focuses on one vendor category, ultimately resulting in an amazing resource for local brides. I was pleasantly surprised when they informed me of having Zorz Studios featured in an article on NY Wedding Photographers (ironically, although we are NY-based, the photo that they chose was actually shot when covering a wedding in Pam Beach, FL, with palm trees in the background…)
Next, a Russian online community leader, RussianNY, contacted me about a possibility of creating portfolios for the finalists of Miss Russian NY pageant. If they are open for a creative approach, I’m in! Interestingly, I have already shot the wedding of Miss Russian NY 2003, Elina Shvets.
Then, Lauren White, the Sales and Business Development Director at Well Spun Wedding Films, contacted me to share her feedback after looking through our work: “I have heard a lot about your work from everyone here… Your photos are not merely photos, they are highbrow fashion shoots and works of art!” Well Spun Wedding Films is among the film studios that I recommend, marking their vintage films with an unbeaten eye for creativity and tasteful editing.
And finally, our latest maternity session offers caught an eye of The Bump, an offspring of the hugely popular wedding resource The Knot where Zorz Studios is featured. I was invited to their networking party next Tuesday. We are also discussing the inclusion of our listing in their annual guide, sporting the full first page of their New York issue with the circulation of 30,000…
What’s next? 😉
