I have been placed on Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Platinum List for the fourth year now and was delighted to learn about a Platinum Members Event that Wedding Style magazine organized for their preferred vendors past Thursday. I love these gatherings because they allow us, wedding industry professionals, to  meet and mingle among each other, [...]

Refreshing my knowledge on social media earlier this week, I came across a service that although having run for four years already, started to catch some high winds last year from CNN, New York Times, BusinessWeek, and the like. It generated a lot of controversy and criticism, yet became powerful enough to make some employers [...]

I’ve been eying The Wedding Salon’s prestigious bridal show for some time now, attending the salon’s networking parties. (One of them, by the way, led to an acquaintance with a turnkey effect.) Organized by Monica Tolbert-Jackson and April Chapman, event professionals with over 20 years of event planning and project management experience, the show will be held on April 5, 2009 at the The Hilton Hotel [...]

Much of the time this week is devoted to intensification of my search for partners to match the quality of my studio’s service, products, expertise, and customer care. In an ongoing series of meetings, I find those vendors whom I could refer to my discerning clients with pride and confidence.

Returned this morning, a fuller report is coming. In the meantime, a scene from one of the mini-outing into a desert.

During this private social event, fueled by plenty of drinks and hors d’ouevres, I had a wonderful opportunity to meet new peers and vendors, establishing a potential for new [...]
