Free Wedding Photography Contest: EngagEd 2019 by Zorz Studios (1)
Reading time: 3 mins

Got engaged? Think you are creative? Try your luck in the free wedding photography contest which turns 10 years! Enter EngagEd and hit us with the coolest concept for your engagement session. Zorz Studios will shoot it for you for free or cover your entire wedding day!

The offbeat type of engagement session became the hallmark of Zorz Studios’ style, characterized by a fashionable, daring, and adventurous production, creating results seen in the slideshow here. This free wedding photography contest is for such couples, ready to kick off their new life with impact! The bad-a$$ prizes are:

  • Grand prize – win free wedding photography for entire day
  • Runner-up – win free engagement session

Invited are all engaged, unmarried couples! If you are not, show your love to your friends and rush them over here! As a destination wedding photographer, I welcome people not only in the NYC metro area, but from across the country and the world as long as they cover reasonable travel and accommodation for one low-maintenance fella…

Enter to win free wedding photography contest by submitting your vision of your epic engagement photoshoot (not the wedding), along with a photo of you two and few more details. The cooler and the more challenging your vision is to execute, the higher the chance of having it done, for free!  Into role-playing? So am I! Indulging fashionista? My background in commercial and fashion photography will pamper your visual desires. Adventurous daredevils? Meet Ed. Love quiet moments and dreaming of Renaissance? I periodically burn the candles through the night in the office filled with classical music… This is not a raffle, so sparing a few minutes with a vague generic idea in a few words will not get you far, unfortunately. In return for our valuable service and skills, you just need to bring a well-developed, intriguing, and original idea. We can come up with our ideas but that’s when we charge our creative fees.

Watch this video to see what awaits you!

The finalists of this free wedding photography contest will be announced in this blog and placed for public voting on the contest page linked below. All our fans will be able to cast their vote for who of the finalists has the coolest concept. Entrants are welcome and encouraged to invite their families, friends, and friends of friends to vote, as long as they aren’t robots or fakes who live in Bangladesh (yep, we can tell in analytics). Please, no rigging the votes which led to the annulment of 2017 results and a major disappointment across the board… Be real and fair. Last year saw an almost record-breaking number of entries, and the cover of this year’s contest is from its runner-up, Sam and Connor! Check out the results from their free engagement session.

  • Entries accepted through January 31, 2019
  • Finalists selected and public voting begins on February 4, 2019
  • Public voting ends on February 11, 2019
  • Winners verified for rule compliance and announced on February 14, 2019

Don’t let anyone miss out! Share this with all your friends and spread the word by using the Share buttons on this page! Nominate your friends, family, neighbors, or yourself if it is your time. We’ve been doing this since 2009 and are going to have a lot of fun again!

Want to give free wedding photography contest a try but another year? Curious about taking part in a similar experience but on a different topic? Sweepstakes are offered throughout the year, so consider following Zorz Studios Facebook page or signing up for our newsletter to catch all of them!

UPDATE 01/08/19: Just a few hours into opening, and we have the first entrant with a striking basketball concept! Welcome to Anissa, my former Forest Laboratories colleague whose dress train I once set on fire in an abandoned mansion… Congrats on your recent engagement, and good luck! Who thinks they or their friends can beat her idea?

UPDATE 02/04/19: We have selected the finalists! Congratulations to making one step closer, guys! Zorz Studios fans, click the link below to vote for the concept you believe is the best. If your friends are there and you want to help them win, invite your friends to vote, too!

UPDATE 02/12/19: Voting has ended and we warmly congratulate Shannon and Jaysen on winning the Grand prize—free wedding day photography service! Our enthusiastic applauses also go to Asha and Shobin for scoring the second winning place, securing a free engagement session! We thank everyone who thought of their friends and took time to cast their votes. To cheer up the remaining entrants, we will be making some sweet offers to them, too. 🙂
