This October, Zorz Studios will participate with an elite group of photographers around the country in a very special family portrait promotion. Although I do not focus on family portrait market yet, throughout October I will celebrate “Family Portrait Month“, a wonderful opportunity for you to update your family portrait, and help support Operation Smile, which treats children who suffer with facial deformities.
Zorz Studios will donate your session fee to PPA Charities to benefit Operation Smile which treats children around the world who suffer with cleft lips, cleft palates, and other facial deformities. More than 100,000 children are born with a facial deformity every year in Operation Smile 26 partner countries, yet tens of thousands remain untreated. Your session fee truly will help change a life, otherwise spent in pain and rejection. Celebrate your family by helping a child, along with thousands of volunteer doctors, nurses, and dentists who donate their time to this incredible organization. I hope to benefit as many children as I can this year through Family Portrait Month sales and my own personal contribution.
Atypical to the industry, I pledge to donate not a portion of the session fee but all proceeds from each photo session above operational costs to the charity. Your fee for a one-hour long in-studio session will allow to completely cover the costs of performing a surgery on one child.
I also believe that Family Portrait Month is a wonderful way to teach children the value of reaching out to others. Even small children can understand the importance of Operation Smile work, and they are eager to help these needy children.

In-studio family portraits, “relationship” images, individual portraits of children are eligible. Zorz Studios’ existing wedding obligations in October can only accommodate for five appointments which must be booked by September 15, 2008.
